He watched from the edge of the tree line, still mounted, raising in the stirrups to see better. A grin etched into his features as he watched them disappear into the cabin and reappear a short time later to pile into the carriage once again.

He turned to look around him, giving a whistle, he knew they were there, they were always there, his father had seen to that, and they had saved him a time or two. "Come on fellas, I know your out there, I need a favor, I'll make sure to sing your praises to father later"

They came then, four of them, wolves that were not wolves, larger then any wolf had the right to be. Intelligence reflecting back at him in their eyes. His horse shied away from them but he managed to keep her under control. "I need to follow that carriage but I can't stay too close, one of them is a druid, they can read the land better then most, so I need some of you to play scout for me, lead me where they go. Think you can handle that?"

They gave nods of their big furry heads then three of them melted back into the woods, the other heading off in the direction they went and he followed him, or was it a her, hard to tell when they were in wolf form.
